State-of-the-art fab sets a new standard for AI-powered robotic digitization.

Silicon Valley, California — May 19, 2026 — Ripcord, the leader in AI-powered robotic digitization, today announced it is launching a new flagship facility in Silicon Valley. The 25,000 square-foot facility, located in Union City, California, will be powered by Ripcord’s advanced robots with capacity to process up to 500 million pages of documents annually.

AI and Modernization Fueling Growing Demand

Government agencies and enterprises are sitting on massive volumes of undigitized records, and urgency is building to turn these records into digital workflows and data for AI. The new facility is purpose-built to address this challenge, including National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) compliance, enabling Ripcord to serve mission-critical use cases that demand the highest standards of data integrity, security, and chain-of-custody management.

"We're at an inflection point," said Ron Sorisho, COO at Ripcord. "Demand from government and enterprises is surging: they need to digitize massive document volumes faster and more cost-effectively than ever. This isn't incremental improvement, it's a fundamental shift in what's possible at scale."

Robotics and AI Built for Performance

The new facility will serve as the flagship R&D and operations center for Ripcord's proprietary robotics platform. Each robot is equipped with an array of advanced sensors, physical AI decisioning, and a robotic framework that together deliver at-scale digitization that is vastly superior to current methods. Key advantages include:

  • 4x faster processing
  • Real-time content adaptability
  • Over 99% data accuracy
  • Significant cost efficiency

Solving the AI Data Bottleneck

Ripcord’s new robotic facility is engineered to solve the growing data deficit undermining AI success, especially enterprise and sovereign AI, where high-context data remains a major bottleneck. Unlocking the valuable information trapped in these documents is the answer.

“High-context data is a major AI bottleneck, especially in sovereign and enterprise AI,” said Sam Fahmy, CEO of Ripcord. “Unlocking the valuable data trapped in these records is essential for AI success. We're scaling to meet the moment.”
